Right after the surge of renewed interest from Pokemon Go and Let's GO. This is the first Pokemon game proper on Switch. I'm a bit iffed as I was getting ready to port things over but then I realized. Like the animations I've seen with Scorbunny's legplay during attacks and so on actually surprised me compared to what I saw in previous games.

On top of that, there's no way in hell they can claim they don't have the money for extended development, Pokemon makes more money than any other form of entertainment, they absolutely definitely can afford more time for development, especially since they are still doing the "2 versions of 1 game" practise. What makes this worse is Gamefreak literally has no excuse for this, the models they are using have been the same since Pokemon X and Y which already have all their animations made! All that would be needed is improving the textures like they did with Pokemon Lets Go. Yep, the minute I heard about this along with the fact Z-Moves and Mega Evolutions are completely cut, I knew I was no longer buying these games.
